ITS Winter Training Camp 2010

We recently held the Intelligent Training Systems Winter Training Camp in London, read on to see how it went...

ITS has a summer and winter training camp for its biomechanics programme directors, tutors and apprentice tutors each year.  Our winter training camp was held at the Riverside Esporta Club in Chiswick this year and we had 15 staff attending.  We brought the guys up to date with where we were with the business and discussed with them new ideas for 2011.  This included the launch of a new biomechanics, self-help software programme for consumers so they can manage their own back pain and RSI.  Look out for its launch very soon! 

We are also developing a new business opportunity for our Biomechanics Coaches where they can licence some amazing biomechanical screening products to help their objectivity with their screening processes and help their results.  All exciting stuff!

Dan Cohen, our Head of Research and Development discussed the principles of research so as we all start to run and develop our own intrinsic biomechanics research programmes, we can be assured that it’s all done in the right way and will be suitable for publication and peer review.

Dan then presented the Biggest Winner project to us, which is something that ITS is supporting as part of our social responsibility as a business.  His idea is to hook up with the Olympic movement for 2012 and roll out an innovative plan for inclusivity of all our children in sports and physical activity.  If you’re interested in finding out more about this please contact  Dan on dan@intelligenttrainingsystems.com.

Mike Grice ran an amazing session on analysing the biomechanics screens that we carry out, so we understand precisely and in more detail the screens and exercises that we teach.  Our Tutor Mentor, Jo Rainsley ran a session to help us understand our Tutor’s goals and aspirations so we as a business can help them, and some of their answers were incredible…………….we hope that ITS can help!!

The 2 day training camp also doubled up as the Intelligent Training Systems Christmas party and we went out in Chiswick.  We are so lucky to have such a great group of guys and it was one of the best nights out of the year for us all.
