Group ExerciseiMove Freely

Introduction

Intelligent Training Systems group exercise programme has been proven to be the ‘foundation for all exercise’ and is branded ‘i move freely’. This iMF instructor workshop is a truly revolutionary yet very simple new exercise package to help your clients move more freely.

Normalise - BEFORE THE CORE - In simple terms Biomechanics comes before muscular or core training. The ability to resolve biomechanical weakness is the key to long term perfection in good posture and movement training.

Move freely TRUE CORE STABILISATION - Then we must strengthen the core before we move onto functional work. Biomechanical inefficiencies prevent good core control. Core stability also improves the motor programming strategy, so if the body is out of alignment core work will maintain that abnormal position. It can therefore stabilise people in the wrong position.

Functionalise - SHOULDER RELEASE/KNEE RE-ALIGNMENT - This is the final phase and prepares the body for having the capacity for what we call functional movement. By releasing and conditioning the shoulder and re-aligning the knee with conditioning work we can start to integrate functional movement patterns.
