Cadaver Day

This is an amazing opportunity for all students of Intelligent Training Systems. Intelligent Training Systems have teamed up with Keele University to help you understand the anatomy under the skin with specific attention paid to the key muscles and nerves in biomechanical screening.

The understanding of anatomy is very difficult to understand for many personal trainers from a book, we are very visual and kinaesthetic leaners. For those people this is a great opportunity to see and experience anatomy first hand. What will you do?

You will be able to get hands on with real cadaver specimens. The day will cover the musculoskeletal anatomy and key elements of neuroanatomy.
The lecturers at the facility are extremely experienced in teaching anatomy for all different levels from pre degree to MSc level.

• You will be expected to respect the specimens.
• Mobile phones, cameras and any form of recording device is prohibited.
• Be aware the specimens are preserved by a substance called formaldehyde, which can smell quite unpleasent.
