Biomechanics Coaching for Golf

About the course

This course is reveals how impactful intrinsic biomechanics is for the golfer. In this course you will learn about the golf swing and the principles of a sound technique.

You will also learn about how faulty intrinsic biomechanics can impact on the swing and how that relates to compromised performance and injuries. Simple strategies on how to manage biomechanical flaws will also be discussed. 


Learning outcomes

  • Summarize the golf swing and its key performance components
  • Explain how intrinsic biomechanical factors can influence performance and injury risk
  • Demonstrate specific pelvic mobility and spinal mobility screens relating to golf
  • Demonstrate how to structure an individual biomechanical conditioning programme for the golfer
  • Demonstrate the ability to create an individualised exercise programme based on an individuals screening results and previous biomechanical history
  • Demonstrate excellent coaching skills to enable your client/patient to understand your findings

  • L2 fitness/coaching qualification or above
